Well, it’s been a year of solid brainstorming, conceptualizing, and simply feeling out this project. I’ve realized the good ideas (like the d@mn good ones) come from a natural process. A simple process of working through things. Anything that is “good” but forcefully created can never be timeless. There is an organic feel to the things we truly create and share. There’s a life in the process, in the moments — clear or blurred. All of the way you never notice it come to fruition.

Now onto the point, to capture the process and those moments. We all have some form of expression or unique passion that we dedicate our lives to. Whether you live for a cause or create tangible pieces of work, there is a story to be told. I’ve always been fascinated by the ability to capture moments. At first it was still images, like the Mickey Mouse film reel toy that you had to hand crank and look through. Then I was gifted a polaroid instant camera to play with at home and it was game over. From capturing childish moments and pissing off my mom, to stretching creative borders with dope people . Life was meant to be lived and lived well in great fashion. Exhaust your days doing what you love then share it. Hope to inspire and discover who you are.

And just remember when it’s natural process, it’s that d*mn good (I apologize for the language, not really, but kind of). Define yourself and be prepared for when they ask, “Who are you?”…. “bywillsmith”.
