Off the Ground/Wander [6:30AM]

If you’re not absolutely crazy about something in this world I can’t trust you – This happens to be a common theme throughout conversations with friends and collaborators. I never really understood not having something to be crazy about. For me, it was either soccer/futbol (or whatever) or some art form that kept me focused. Now that college is over, I’ve put the ball away, and been living/working behind my camera. There are some shared elements between the two that I can never really verbalize. It’s more of a “feelings/senses” thing (not emotional), but more of an awareness of your surroundings – 360 degrees.

It’s being in tune with everything. It’s moving quickly and never looking down at your steps. It’s trusting your body’s intuition so you can let your mind go. There’s a peace in this constant internal communication. You find yourself and what you love to do, because inside of all of this shit has to be that. Plain & simple.
In your craziness are your best qualities; the qualities that bring people towards you. The parts of you that help make life genuine. Yup. Enjoy. 🖖 #bywillsmith
